How long the eVisa is valid
The Ethiopia eVisa is issued as a multiple-entry authorization for tourism purposes, allowing a stay of either 30 or 90 days depending on the planned length of your visit. It is valid from the exact date of entry you provide in the application form.
What you need to apply
The entire process is completed online in a couple of minutes. You will need:
- A passport valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of entry to Ethiopia
- A recent passport-size photo of the applicant
- Your passport's biodata page
- A working email address, where your approved eVisa will be sent
Once your application is approved, your eVisa is delivered by email, usually within a few days. Apply as soon as your exact date of entry is known.
